sean: (Lets get truckin!)
We attack at dawn!

Indeed! Time to show those scandalous dogs what we are truly made of my commander!

So, these past few days have really seen me looking up. Lots of good things came about and I'm just feeling like I drank a gallon of AwesomeSauce every day for the past few days.

It all started on Thursday, when my girls dad brought a salesman from the local Chevy dealer over to the house with a different car for us to look at in order to trade her truck in (We were going to have a hell of a time making a $540 payment). So we ended up going to the dealer to see what this salesman can do for us.

While waiting for the computers to fix themselves, we find out he's part of a band. He and my girl talked a bit cause he was looking to get a website made for his band. He got my girls email address so he might commission her later on when they realize what they want the site to look like.

I also talked to them about a logo/mascot (since they didn't have one) and I said I'd draw one for them if they had an idea of what they wanted. I'd draw their stuff for free, free press, you know?

Anyways, he went to get his boss, since he was having problems with our trading information.

So his boss comes out, a nice big (obviously well-fed) mexican man named Ernest, and he proceeds to tell us there is no way we could do the trade and get a lower price for our payment. But he proceeds to tell me and my girl that if there is anything he can do, just let him know and he'll see what he could do to help.

So, me sitting there, just having woken up from bed not more than an hour ago, in wrinkled clothes, unkempt hair, and possibly in need of a minor shave, I speak up and ask, 'Well, do you have any jobs available?'

For a second there, it looked like he was going to say no, no we do not, but then his face changed, and he took me back to his office.

He explained to me he was planning on firing four people, mainly kids just out of high school who did not want to work, they just wanted to sit around and get their $2,500 monthly from the company.

He explained to me the bonuses that I could get from selling just a couple cars a month. Those kids could be making an easy $5k or more by just talking to customers who walked in looking for a car. But Ernest told me they tend to hide and run away from customers, preferring not to deal with them.

Not to mention working for Lithia motors you can get a host of benefits such as a stock purchase plan, medical, dental, vision insurance, paid holidays and vacations, paid disability, paid training, paid life insurance, and a 401k.

Now, I dunno about you, but if I was handed that kind of opportunity, I would damn near make more than the $5k as well as make sure I was there for a long, long time.

I said that to him, and he liked it. Ernest took me upstairs, had me meet the human resources lady and fill out the assessment.

Her name was Kim and she was really nice. I finished the assessment and she said she would give me a call as soon as she knew what was up with my background and driving record check.

So we were denied a car-trade, but I was given a HUGE opportunity with this company.

We went to Taco Bell and had lunch to celebrate. I let my father-in-law (not really yet, but he calls me his son-in-law :)   )  know the opportunity given to me by Ernest, and how excited I was. He looked as passive as usual.

Then I played games all day, and spent half the night in the hot tub with my girlie.

We talked Warhammer 40,000 till we fell asleep.

Had a fantastic sleep, only to be woken up yesterday morning at around 9 am because of my phone ringing.

Groggy, I say hello.

"Hi Sean, its Kimberly from Lithia, I was calling to let you know you have a 10 o'clock interview with Paul Hatchman on tomorrow, is that alright?"

I said yes, and that I would be there. But in my head I was yelling "OF COURSE ITS ALRIGHT!! I LOVE BEING WOKEN UP TO GOOD NEWS!"

So, later on in the day I called Ernest and told him about my interview, but of course Kim had already told him. However, he was excited for me all the same. He said that he knows that I'll hit it off with Paul and I'll be able to get to work right away.

Ernest also said that he would make sure that I would be able to succeed in this business, and that if I had any kind of shortcomings, or failures, they were his fault and not mine. He would make sure that I could take care of my girl and help the family as much as possible. He would make sure that I am blessed.

I've never had a manager say that, and he genuinely meant it. I could just tell over the phone and what I knew from meeting him before.

He also told me that my Father-in-law had called and thanked him for giving me this opportunity.

Man, I've never been just so proud and happy.

Then to top off my day, I found the video below, which is a trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine.

Me and my girl got giddy about it (I'm teaching her about Warhammer, and she actually listens and has good questions!) Trailer be Awesome.

She also found me her old copy of Photoshop CS 2. So I'll install that later too.

Today has been a good day, that also ended with us in the pool and hot tub again.

I love having good days.

But since its almost 3 am and I have an interview in about 7 hours, I should probably get to sleep. :)

Although, I'm much to giddy to do so.

But I'll try.

Thanks for reading guys!

sean: (Hello?)
Man, 311 was a fuckin' blast. Not just a normal blast, not a fantasmo blast, but a Fuckin' Blast. Met a lot of cool people in the line outside during our four hour wait, even a tattoo artist we may have to go visit so my girlie can get something from him. He had a kickass kind of kid too.

We were 10 deep in the line, and somehow managed to get up to the first five. Don't ask how, it just happened.

Not to mention the girlie ran over and met with the band and they remembered her from past concerts, gave them hugs, etc. She was outrageously cute about it, all kinds of giddy.

Managed to get front and center stage, which was badass in itself, and we saw both the bands up close and personal.

There was this dude with his kid there, 12 years old at the front, and this dude was a big gorilla of an ugly bastard. He was cool up until the bands actually started playing, cause then he grabbed ahold of the barrier and wouldn't let go for shit, and my girl was getting crushed against him cause the entire place was trying to move front and center. I tried my best to keep everyone off of her, but damn if you don't push back only to have them push back harder.

Me and her brother wanted to beat the hell out of that gorilla dude, mainly cause he was an outrageous deusche in that he wouldn't budge even to help my girl over the barrier when she wanted out and security was trying to get her over the barrier. I literally had to jump over him to get out and make sure she was ok.

Never have I wanted to make a child an orphan faster.

But aside from the crowd and the gorilla, it was a kickass kind of show. I met the lead singer of Full Service, (see the page and music here) the band who played before 311, who did some reggae/pirate/rock songs and it was really kickass. Nice guy, I'll pay to see more of his shows.

311 was kickass all around, minus crowd and gorilla. Poor gorillas kid, he wasn't enjoying himself simply cause of dads deuschery.

Not to mention this or forget it, there was a security guard there who looked exactly like Francis from Left 4 Dead. I couldn't help but whisper into my girlies ear and say "I hate concerts."

Anyways, we made it out, back to the hotel room, ordered Domino's and watched Predator till we fell asleep.

When we got up in the morning, we went down to breakfast, and being a Holiday Inn, and having never had to pay for a breakfast before when residing in one for a night or a week, we got a huge breakfast, me, her, her brother, and our friend Matt. Only to be handed a check. I was outraged, let me tell you.

We left, should have skipped on the check, but girlie was too nice to do so.

On the drive home, I got a call from the store manager at a local Zales about an opening and interview today, so instead of relaxing when I got home, I shaved, showered, and suited up real nice and went to meet with a potential new boss.

Her name was Coco, and I think she was closer to my age than I thought she'd be. She interviewed me and seemed to enjoy my answers. Said I was her third interview, and I hope I get a call from her tomorrow or whenever with a job, as I could use the regular income.

I left feeling pretty damned good, and came home to eat some of my girlies dads home cookin', mexican style.

No, I'm not racist, but he is a mexicano, and damn if he doesn't make fantastic food. I had Guiso and Bean burritos, and omg delicious.

Saw my little nephew (really my girls nephew, but he looks up to me like a fun uncle) and he has been doing good in school recently (daycare, but its all good) and I told him if he behaves tomorrow, I'll take him swimming.

He looked very happy. Suppose I'll take him swimming tomorrow.

But thats about it today, had a good couple of days, and we'll see how the rest of the week pans out. :)

PEACE OUT YA'LL!

-Sean

P.S.

Gorilla man, the next time you see me, it will be a 'Boom, headshot!' kind of meeting.

Ok, so the scavenger hunt was a blast and I felt sick to my stomach afterwards.

I ate a 6 patty burger down to the last bite before I threw half of it up and felt amazing. I did this while watching one of my other teammates guzzle ketchup, another with ranch, and the third eating a Jalepeno pepper and a lemon.

Needless to say, we all weren't feeling too great.

I also jumped into the nastiest river you can think of, to swim out to a mermaid statue and violated it with my body.

Then, on the way back to meet up with everyone, I watched one of my other teammates guzzle a Aunt Jemimah's thick n' rich bottle of syrup. Fantastic.

Needless to say again, we all had a nice hurl later on.

Then, the next morning I got up and still feeling bleh, I went to training for my new job.

I sell Kirby Vacuums. And I will sell them well.

Not to mention I've been making fun friends on Counter-Strike, and The Girlie rather enjoys listening to the banter between me and other witty individuals.

Not to mention, I also play Starcraft so much I've permanently embedded all the Terran themes inside her head. I'm now working on Protoss and Zerg.

Anyways, just posting to let everyone know whats up, even though only the girlie watches me right now, ha!

Hopefully, I'll get some people who look me up in a bit.

Hopefully.

Anyways, talk to you laters!
